The Pacific Southwest Academy of Legal Studies in Business will hold its annual conference from February 14-16, 2013 at the newly refurbished Hilton Palm Springs Resort in beautiful Palm Springs, California. The conference begins with a reception on Thursday, the 14th and concludes with a dinner at the hotel on Saturday evening, the 16th at which time the Best Paper Award and the Distinguished Awards will be granted. The weather is delightful, the vistas of purple shrouded mountains are stunning, and the conference coincides with the beginning of Palm Springs Modernism Week, February 14 -24, 2013 which affords you an opportunity to view the classic mid-century modern aesthetic of the 1940s, 50s and 60s through onsite visits, films, and lectures. Additionally, if the Annenberg Estate is not being utilized at that time as a site for a high level retreat, a guided tour of the magnificent 200 acre estate in Rancho Mirage, only minutes from Palm Springs, will be available.The conference is notable for both its scholarly presentations and the warm camaraderie that exists among participants.
